"What a wonderful, marvelous concert. A great piece of work. You are all to be commended. I could tell that your hearts and souls were in this work. It really showed. The song choices were excellent, the spoken pieces were moving and true. I thought that the total sound of the chorus was excellent. From the opening number to the closing piece, every single song was engaging.

Congratulations to Chris, to Carolyn, and to each and every one of you. You are truly amazing.

"Desert Voices has outdone itself! I have been to many GLBT chorus events in different cities, and what DV accomplished last Saturday night has elevated the chorus concept to a whole new level. Hilarious, sexy, lyrical, inventive, and flawlessly executed, it was easily the most professional chorus performance I have ever attended. DV knows how to have a good time!"

we really enjoyed the whole evening. convey our appreciation to everyone for the entertainment. We thought the lyrics in today's world were so apt, appropriate and conveyed a sense of what we all face. I thought your duet when i am 64 was great. we are still laughing about tools being a girls best friend and how great it was to see the older couple sing about 'do we do it.' wow. hey the food was great, too. loved the idea.

finally and this is something you all ought to pat yourselves on the back about was the complete organization of the evening. we go to a lot of events. this one started and ended appropriately the silent auction was well organized and closed when it should and who ever was in charge did a great job " - Fred Dardis

"The entire group is to be commended. EVERYONE did well. Dick as Joe, the truck drivers, the gym teachers, your new quartet (that was really good, I love the sound), the social worker song, Wendy's song and all the military songs. Sherry's rendition of the millenary was "fall off your seat funny." There was not one single number that I would have changed. I loved them all!!!! "Va, pensiero" was my personal favorite. The blend, the harmony, the melody, and the perfection with which it was directed and performed has made it absolutely the best of all the DV songs ever. It is my new all time favorite.

It is clear that there are hours of work that go into a show, so many people who do so much. Everything came together for the audience, the staging, the set design, the video and of course the music You have a lot of talent in the group and it really shows. I love how personal the concerts always are. I love the stories. And Chris, what an extraordinary director he is. What a glorious performance. There are truly not enough superlatives to hand out to the members of Desert Voices. My hat off to everyone."
