We're having open house rehearsals where we welcome all who are interested to see and hear what we're about. There are no formal auditions; voices are checked by our artistic director for part placement. So if being part of an organization dedicated to celebrating our dynamic diversity with music and meaning, we'd love to see you at one of the following open houses:

***We take the safety of our community and the risk that COVID poses to us seriously. Therefore, proof of full vaccination is required and masks must be worn indoors. Additionally, we are spaced throughout the sanctuary to allow for maximum ventilation.***

Our New Interim Artistic Director!
Keith Clark is thrilled to be a part of Desert Voices as the Interim Artistic Director this season.
Previously, Keith was the Artistic Director for 10 seasons with Voices of the Desert in Phoenix. In addition, Keith has overseen numerous productions in a variety of places. From the high seas, including the cruise industry, national tours of Theater for Young Audiences, Light Opera in New York City, as well as worship music in Phoenix for the Phoenix Metropolitan Community Church, Keith has a wide range of experience with a variety of musical genres. In addition, Keith is also an accomplished performer and is a member of Actor's Equity and the Screen Actors Guild having earned his stripes in New York and through national and international touring. Keith has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University where he was a member of the Grammy nominated singing Hoosiers. He has a genuine passion to entertain audiences with a creative and professional flare that gives meaning and enjoyment to the arts. WELCOME TO DESERT VOICES, KEITH!

OUR MISSION
"Fostering Community Through Song"
Desert Voices is Tucson's premier gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and ally chorus. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Arizona beautiful music and to forging a positive and resolute LGBTQA presence in the community. Our unique chorus welcomes all voices to attend our rehearsals and come to our performances, regardless of age, gender, race, creed, or sexuality. Our members are diverse in voice and in background, of gay and straight singers, of all ages and identities. We strive to bring quality, unique music performances and the harmony of community to Tucson. Our purpose is to give a voice to those whose songs go unheard.
OUR VISION
Desert Voices is an inclusive chorus organized to provide the opportunity for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and supportive others to sing together in order to:
- Build community within and outside the Chorus through our love of music.
- Produce shows that are entertaining and musically excellent.
- Perform music that reflects the lives of the LGBTQA community.
- Promote an ongoing, positive LGBTQA presence in our community.
- Advance positive social change in the larger society.
