ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
Desert Voices provides the following accommodations for our concertgoers at ALL concerts:
• American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation
• Online document with song lyrics and speeches
• Preferential seating for blind and low vision individuals
We also aim to provide the following accommodations, though our ability to do so depends on the venue and their facilities:
• Accessible entrances and restrooms
• Elevators
• Hearing loop
ASL Interpretation and blind/low vision individuals
We provide preferential seating for concertgoers who are utilizing the ASL interpretation or those with blindness/low vision on a first-come-first-served basis. In the event of a sold-out show, we are unable to guarantee preferential seating. To help us have the best chance at ensuring you find a seat that accommodates your needs, please either email us before the show to let us know you will be needing the accommodation or plan to arrive early to inform our volunteers at the check in table.
Online document with song lyrics and speeches
A document containing the lyrics to all of our songs, as well as spoken remarks/speeches made during the concert can be accessed by scanning the QR code in our concert program. There are also printed copies of the QR code at the check in table and at the front of the audience on both sides.
Hearing loop
Some (but not all) of our concert venues have hearing loop technology that allows those who use telecoil-equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants to receive sound directly into their hearing devices. The following symbol indicates that a venue is enabled with hearing loop equipment. You must switch your hearing device to telecoil (or “T”) mode to utilize this technology. If you do not have telecoil-equipped hearing aids or cochlear implants, the venue may have portable loop receivers with headphones or earbuds that you can borrow. Please inform our volunteers at the check in table if you would like us to ask the venue if they have portable loop receivers they can lend you.
